i think, based on the information given and the fact that the seller's website is based in russia, that he is selling dewat ak's out of the soviet union.

they are legal to own in most of europe...not legal here.

dewat = deactivated war trophy, in this case the term is applied to surplus firearms that have been welded/altered into a permanently disfunctional state.

Its a Russian MMG, which is an abreviation for the Russian phrase for what we call dewatt. Basically translates to model or dummy gun. The breadboard part is from a translation program, which does a word for word translation of the Russian phrase.

These models/dewatts all have real deactivated gun parts, including the evil machine gun receiver. There is also not allot of usable parts either, as the Russians demill everything except for the stock set, top cover, spring, and barrel parts. On  the AK74M and AK105 models, these dont even work.

They make nice wall hangers, but thats it.

There are also no original AK47s either. They have AKMs to the AK74M. I buy mine direct from a dealer in Russia, and he has never seen a AK47 model.

I have shared this pic before, but here is some of my collection:

Those AKSU-74 and AK-105 dewats are pretty neat looking. Wouldn't mind having one hang on my wall, just for the hell of it.
