Sorry if this is not the correct place to post this.

On the SKS's that have the removable mags...
Do they have a stripper clip system available like the ones used for loading AR15's?
Meaning, they have the stripper clips for the fixed mags, but is there one for removable mags to load the mag easily?

I noticed that on removable mag vers of the SKS, the bolt had to be pulled back in insert the mag...is that normal? It was kinda a pain in the arse.

Thanks.

Is this a SKS that uses AK mags, or the detachable "Duckbill" style?

AK mags, you can obviously use the AK loader with strippers(or a LULA for that matter).

If a duckbill, I don't know of any loading devices for these.  You can use a stripper through the loading guide in the bolt carrier when the mag is inserted however.

They are the Duckbill ones.
I thought of the bolt/stripper after I left the range.

Should the unloaded duckbill style need to bolt pulled back to load an empty mag?

Thats how it is when its loaded.

Thanks
