Will a stamped receiver stock set fit a MAK-90?

Are their any pistol grip stock sets made just for the MAK-90?

Will a Romainian or Bulgarian set fit w/o any major mods?

Thanks.

Any stamped set should fit your MAK, with minor mods. However, I am sure you are adding the required parts to be 922r compliant.

There are some MAK-90s that have milled receivers I used to have one that did.

Both of the ones on the front of my instruction manual for the MAK-90 have milled receivers.

Here is a pic of my MAK-90 with a stamped US made stock set from K-VAR.  The buttstock and lower handguard did require some fitting with a file.  If I can fit this stock set with my limited technical skills just about anyone can.

I have also used the wood stock sets produced by Ironwood Designs and they required little to no fitting.

As mentioned, AKM stock sets can be fitted to the MAK/NHM90 rifles. If you prefer the look of the 56s (buttstock angle is more like that of a milled AK47) try www.polytechparts.com or www.rpbusa.net. The RPB sets have the cut lower forend to accomodate the folding bayonet, www.tapco.com has standard Chinese lower forends for $15.
