I have read that the WASR-10 has trouble functioning with a drum magazine. I just want to know can any one explain why this is to me, and any ways to fix it.

I'm guessing its one of two things... Either the dimples standard to a true highcap are absent, they serve to eliminate play in the mag well... or the mods needed to the feedramp to make a double stack mag feed properly don't work well with a drum. Beyond that I have no ideas.

Some people say the WASRs are better finished,
but for the price diff.- ( maybe $40-$50 more )
I would just get a SAR1.
Made originally for Hicaps - drums WORK fine-
and laminated stock is cool looking.

That is what I thought I would be getting, but surprise surprise. It was a WASR-10.

You can always have it sent back. Many people who think they have ordered a SAR have received WASRs, and most have been able to exchange them.

I think I waited to long for that. I got the guns months ago. I haven't shot it more than 40 or 50 time though.

I wouldn't worry much about the drum thing. If it feeds hi-cap mags reliably, it will most likely do the same with drums. If not, it should be and easy problem to address.

Thats the type of ak i got and It feeds from a romanian(i think thats what it is) 75rd drum. never had a problem with it feeding at all.
