| Where may get a Polish made receiver fit for the 7.62x39 caliber? are there any imports here? |
| There are no receivers imported for the Polish AK's, or for any other AK's at this point. There are some complete rifles imported but for a receiver, you will have to get an American one. Please read up on the laws and regulations concerning building a rifle from imported parts. |
Camp were you inhaling paint fumes when you made this post? Many Polish AK's have been imported in tact. Most were either cut up into parts kits or sold as full auto weapons post samples. |

i have never seen exactly one polish receiver, intact (or re-welded) as a pmds...ever. that was brought in by keith baranski. i also know of three, possibly four, bulgarian transferables ak-74's in the country. those are not enough to state thate there are any availble, or were ever availble. yes, they may be cut before leaving a bonded custom house, but 99% of all imported machineguns are imported cut at the country of origin. as mr. steelcans is, presumably building up a semi-auto, i seriously doubt that a single semi-auto polish receiver (if there even is such a thing) made it into the usa. and rewelding a m.g. receiver is legally verboten. |
