I just got a Bulgarian SLR101 7.62x39 The PO3 5x21 russian scope looks real good But will it work with 7.62 I think it's designed for 5.45?

The scope will work fine, the bullet drop down range will just be off.

exactly. the scope reicule is graduated for the ballistics of 5.45. however, at ranges of 300m and less, it works well, with only minor correction required at 300m.
