Anyone know about what the sustained rate of fire is for a 7.62x39 AK is?

I tried looking up the info with google and couldn't find anything. Thanks!

the practical rate of fire of is 100 rounds per minute in full auto. please note, this is sustainable for short periods of time before the weapon is permenantly damaged.

the sustained rate of fire is substanially less...some sources put it at 45 rpm and some at 60 rpm. needless to say, unless the ammo supply truck is right behind your foxhole, you would soon be out of ammunition if that rate were continued for any length of time.
