MRW, Nice report. I have not purchased a scope yet for my VEPR II 308 and was leaning towards the 8x42V scope from Tantal. You will need to post another report after you are able to shoot it again. The Portuguese 308 battle packs are my favorite surplus ammo. The VEPR 308 is a hell of alot of fun to shoot.
