Greetings: I am looking for a FAQ that can help me figure out if I want a Russian, Bulgarian, Romanian, Egypitian, Chinese, Lower Slobovian, etc., AK. Also a discussion of pros and cons of stamped and milled receivers (beyond the obvious) and any other technical and/or functional considerations. I own several combat-derived semi-auto rifles (AR, FAL, HK) but have yet to get a handle on what I really want from an AK. At this point I am leaning toward a Bulgarian, but I feel like I need more input before pulling the trigger (so to speak). Thanks. |
