Hey Guys,

I just swung by engineering and snapped a few pictures.

These first two photos are of the prototype for our 9mm AK, that will be released in late August/early September. It has a side-folding brace, and takes CZ Scorpion Mags.

Why the 45 degree AKM gas block and FSB on the 5.56 rifle? Looks funky but I'm a 74 guy I guess

What is the muzzle threading on these?

No weird gap on the bolt carrier and front trunnion, check.

Folding stock, check.

Uses Scorpion mags that are pretty cheap, freely available (and I already have a ton), and look right with the platform, check.

9mm AK, check.

Wallet catching on fire, check.

Damn you PSA! I guess I'll have to get one of these before your MP5 clone comes out.

No they are not. They are an early prototype of our magazine. The final version of ours will be translucent.

@KentuckyMarksman - About two weeks on the 5.56 AK.

@sputnik556 - We will have 5.56, 7.62x39, and 9mm pistols in the near future.

@Circle10 - A hinged dust cover will be on the final version.

An update on our KS47. To make the KS47 more price competitive, we changed the upper and lower receiver from billet to forged. They will be available again in 60-90 days. We will have a new pistol version and other variants coming out in the near future.

The 5.56 will have a forged Bolt carrier and Trunnion. The 9mm BCG(one unit) and front trunnion will be forged.

I'm a 5.45 nut but could be persuaded for a 5.56. Would the rifle versions incorporate the same hinged rail setup? I've been dying for an ak12 type hinged system. If so, you have my money.

I agree on the thread pitch. Lots of people will want to run suppressors with it and not all the companies offer 1/2x36.
