Lots of things work, depends on your budget really
PA makes good optics and most anything will work on a TWS RS Regulate makes the best US side mount if you have a side rail installed on the receiver. Most red dots will work flawlessly on the RS and several have dedicated mounts just for them (Aimpoint and MRO for example) |

The Primary Arms 3x Prism Scope with the ACSS reticle is amazing. The Holosun HS503G w/ ACSS reticle is also an amazing red dot. Both are tough as nails and cheaper than the MRO. I've personally beaten the snot out of both of the aforementioned optics and couldn't be happier. I don't know much about the MRO other that what I've read. The Vortex Sparc II is another great option. If you don't mind the size, the Aimpoint PRO is a great option as well.
I'd set a few dollars aside as I've read several accounts of the Rifle Dynamics stock mount breaking. I too looked into it. Based upon what I had learned, I bought the Definitive Arms M4 stock adapter. It's built like a tank. If you don't mind me asking OP, which model of the DDI did you purchase? Is it the new 100% US made or the Hungarian parts kit build? |

I bought it on sale from AIM surplus. I bought it for the Green Mountain Barrel. I haven't even it shot yet... I'm an AR guy, bought the AK because I wanted to learn more about it. WE did a drop test sort of on the stock dropped it from about 3-4 feet |

I'm running a Ultimak rail/gas tube with a Bushnell TRS 25 on a PSAK47. It has approximately 700 rounds with that set up run through it.
Not one problem yet and I can stand and make head hits on a B27 target at 50 yards with every shot. That rail and red dot cost less than $200. |

I run a Holosun with the Primary Arms ACSS reticle in my DDI Hungarian AKM. I use a RS Regulate mount.
