How much do you want to spend? How complicated or simple? Magnified optic or red dot, or both? For a simple red dot, Ultimak is pretty hard to beat. This an inexpensive solution as well http://zenphotos.net/zenPhotos/File/Online/SVD/tactical/SLR104_Ultimak_T1_G2_Left01.JPG Way way way more pricey, but ZenitCo has the best HG and optic mount design available B10 HG +B33 topcover is my personal favorite http://zenphotos.net/zenPhotos/File/Online/SVD/optics/RSM_NictraSGL31_PA_WPNLight_Right.JPG B30 and B31 HG's give you long real estate if you need it http://zenphotos.net/zenphotos/file/Online/SVD/Mounts/ZenitCo_Rail_AK74M_PK06_Right01.jpg Expensive also, but by far the best US side mount is the RS Regulate http://zenphotos.net/zenPhotos/File/Online/SVD/optics/TA31GH_AK74M_Left_W01.JPG I already have an aimpoint, flash light and IR Laser for it already I want more rail for the rear and have a side mount adaptor on the receiver What kind of stock is that? I was thinking of a magpul zukov but that stock looks better |

It's the ZenitCo PT-1 stock, but you will need an actual 4.5mm or 5.5mm folding trunnion installed on your rifle. The PT-1 will not fit a fixed trunnion receiver. The magpul will be fine though, and no gunsmithing required
http://russianoptics.net/zenit.html If price is no object then the ZenitCo setup will do what you need and have plenty of rail space. You won't need a side mount for an optic either. Check out the link for more details. |

Seems like it might change the elevation when you take the top cover off? What about the foregrip? I was thinking of a troy long foregrip |

The topcover is hinged and does not come off unless you intentionally take B33 apart from B10. In my use so far it has held zero regardless of how many times it opens or closes. It secures tighter than an AKSU cover and is actually somewhat tricky to open
No comment on the vertical grips, I don't use them Z |
