got this with a box of parts, has a weird hook sitting next to the disconnector. the cross pin sleeve that goes through the hole has a flange on both ends so that it can't be removed.

anyone know what rifle this came out of and what that hook is for?

Looks like a Molot (Vepr) trigger.

It appears to be a cast part to me.  The lines and just the texture of the metal.  I have no idea what rifle it came out of.
