I decided to get another WASR 10 and ordered one through Buds Guns. Got it yesterday afternoon and it's a 2015 built rifle. I must say that this WASR is pretty darned straight head to toe. I stripped all of the aftermarket stuff off my IO AKM247C last night and put it on the WASR (Zhukov stock, MOE grip, Bulgarian black plastic lower handguard, Ultimak rail and a Primary Arms RDS). Looks like there is a good chance I will be trading off the IO AKM247C this evening for a Springfield XDM 45. I will post photos this evening.

I have 2 of them as well. Will likely leave 1 a virgin for investment purposes.

Seems they have been getting good reviews lately.

I'd make that trade in a heartbeat.

I just bought one. Maybe I'm too picky, but my gas block looks a little crooked. Other than that, I suppose it's good. I know my C39V2 is head and shoulders above as far as quality. People bash American Ak, but damn it Americans know how to build good looking square stuff !

Have you shot it yet? My 2014 WASR has a gas block that looks a bit canted to the eye, but it runs like a top. The IO actually looks good, no doubt, but I am replacing as many of my questionable quality guns with those which will likely last a long time. The Comm bloc guns have definitely done that, IMO. If I look at another US built AK, it will likely be something from DDI in a year or two.
