I've seen pics of people's Arsenal rifles with real Russian furniture on them. Does this create an issue with 922r compliance to take the US furniture off ? I guess I view this differently than taking a Mak90 thumbhole stock off and turning it into a side folder or something

Tons of people don't care about 922r or do not agree with the interpretation of it affecting the owner of the rifle.

I always ad enough US parts to keep the count correct after I change out parts.

No more than 10 imported parts from the list. You count the import parts, not the US made ones.

Ok cool, just read the checkoff list, as long as I have a US made magazine, all my parts meet compliance

If a part does not say made in a foreign country, how can they prove it was not made in the U.S., beyond a reasonable doubt that is?

I once bought a U.S. made part, its was in a sealed package, the part said U.S. but had a sticker that said made in bulgaria

If you read 922(r), it does not say that it need to be stamped US nor did a letter I got from the ATF say that it has to be stamped US made.

I had to get a new piston and bought a US made one and it does not have US stamped anywhere on it, but it counts as a non-import

Nice !
As stated above how can they prove some of it anyways.
But I'll stay on the safe side.
