Ok a few years back I had the internal ace side folder block installed. My question is does the "pig nose " as adapter for a ar buffer tube work? Add overall length to the stock? I prefer shorter length of pull and I wanted to use one of my Magpul stocks.. Any experiences would be appreciated .

| The pig nose bolts directly to the block. Your length of pull will include the length of the threaded portion of the buffer tube. Figure about an inch longer fully collapsed than on an AR and add maybe 3/4" more if you use a folder hinge. I ran an Ace SOCOM w/ pig nose and ACE hinge on a Saiga for years before swapping for Magpul's Zhukov folding/breaking stock. You should be GTG fully collapsed or at the first position. |
