| Anyone purchased an Interarms AK? if so, how do you like it? |
| I have an Interarms WS88 that has been a pleasure to shoot. it's a 5.45x39mm sidefolder. Groups as tight as my AR15s at 100 yards with the good ammo (Hornady) and an Aimpoint on it. The parkerizing is very good, much better than Century imported Or cheaper AKs. chrome lined, fit and finish is great. I would definitely buy another Interarms AK based on my experience with this one if I was in the market for one. |

I also bought an Interarms ak74 as my first gun. The gray parkerizing was ugly, but i fixed that with black gunkote. Its been very reliable for me and has never experienced a failure of any kind. Im guessing that ive shot 2,000+ rounds through it. I have always preferred the gray to black Parkerizing, but that's just a personal thing. They are made in Texas. |

I bought 1 of them back in the day when RGUNS had them fro 599 (I think that was 2007). InterArms did a great job building these rifles on original WZ-88 all matching part kits utilizing original CHFCL barrels. Rivets are perfect, they used good receivers (NDS_T) and tapco G2 triggers. Parts kits dating to 1991-1992. 922 they used FCG, PG, Receiver and Piston. Parkerization was excellent as well. I would give InterArms 10/10 for the rifle. What are they going for nowdays? |

InterArms, not Inter Ordnance Quoted:

With an IO marked USA produced ak the rivets are smashed against the barrel, and they WILL rattle loose and look shitty, maybe 500 rounds maybe 5000, but eventually. InterArms, not Inter Ordnance When I saw this thread last night, I was wondering how long it would take for someone to mistake Interarms for IO
It's unfortunate that a company that makes good AKs has a name so similar to the worst company in the business. |

I bought mine from Rguns about 2007 as well, so the same time as you. That price sounds right. It does have the nodak spud receiver. I have not seen any to price recently. I put the Polish black plastic foregrips on mine, and a top picatinny bridge rail like the Beryl has. Those are the only changes I have made. Agree on the 10/10. Best AK I have owned. I have had 3 previous ones, all Rommy and Yugo Century imports that failed to impress. Doubt I will ever sell this one. |
