I have been offered a RAS47 in a trade transaction.
I know nothing about AKs. Is there anyone with first hand knowledge of the RAS47? Can they be modified in any way? I have been doing some research, but I would like a non-writers input. |

Pretty much any type of stamped AKM furniture will work on it. There are tons of magpul furniture options too.
I bought one as a toy, and quickly added an ultimak rail + primary arms red dot, synthetic furniture and a sling. It's nothing special, but it's a shooter and I like it. New they go for about $500. Some purists don't like the fact it's missing the standard cleaning rod and bayonet mount. I couldn't care less. |
| pls do more research, YouTube it, etc.. there are many people having issue with their trunion, bolt, carrier, cast parts etc. It might not be worth it on the long run. Its a gable, maybe some are good some are bad, Think about it, why is the original owner getting rid of it? maybe he just discover his RAS47 is not in par with the rest. just my 2ยข |
