I bought a Draco nearly 10 years back and SBR'd it. For some reason I sold it shortly thereafter. Anyway, I want to get another. How much trouble is it to put an underfolder on a new production Draco?

Thanks,
RC

If you know how to do the mill work I don't think it should be to hard.  You can drill through the existing trunnion (I'd check on yours to make sure but the ones I have seen, you can drill through the factory trunnion).  I sent mine to JBI for what seemed like an eternity (almost 6 months) but I am really loving it.

need some new pics.... this one is getting a little played out but here ya go

I did a UF conversion on a SAIGA. That was a little bit harder since I had to remove the scope mount and rear trunnion, then install the UF trunnion. It helps a lot to have template. It's also not that hard if you have a drill press. Measure multiple times before you drill.

This.... the guy at JBI actually said that the length of the receiver was off by 1/8th inch and it actually threw him off the first time so you definitely want to make sure those measurements are perfect before you start drilling bc it will take some skills with the welder to fix that fiasco if it isn't drilled exactly right.

Also the template is a really good idea.... you know how much experience you have but it definitely isn't just drilling a hole in the back and throwing it in and expecting it to work.  I don't think it is difficult to do, but its also something that isn't hard to f*** up if you don't know exactly what you are doing.

Those SLR brakes are awesome, love me some Draco fireballs

Thought about doing an underfolder, but I kinda like fixed stocks on a Draco as well.

I was afraid I wouldn't be able to SBR it due to 41P. Still don't like it but it doesn't screw me like I thought it would.

I spent way to much the last 3 months and to wait until the funds build back up to get it going. I got 4 cans and a 107UR in before January.

That looks great!  I sent one off to have the underfolder installed.  I had the underfolder stock and also an underfolder rear trunnion so it shouldn't be too hard to get it built.

The SLR puts out one hell fireball 4sure but it makes it pretty pleasant to shoot (from a recoil perspective) I have a slant brake in my bag for the rare occasion I shoot indoors.  The SBR draco is well worth it... honestly love mine.
