Care to be more specific? I am familiar with CNC Warrior website and offerings and I don't see anything there that fits my requirements. |
| Yeah, it is still going to be pinned. I am familiar with the AK-USA design you are referring to. That would probably be the easiest and most effective option, but I am not a fan of the way it looks. I've toyed around with different ideas about what kind of muzzle brake to put on there for a while, but just can't find an example that "sells" me. I don't want to SBR the rifle either. All ideas (and pictures) are appreciated. |

I am looking for a muzzle brake that looks similar to this Surefire model (fairly generic design, I know). The critical issue is length. I need one that is 3.625" (92.075 mm) long. A little bit longer will be ok; shorter will not work. I need it for .223 gun, but 7.62 will also work. Thread pitch can be either 1/2x28 or 14x1. 24x1.5 will not work. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. http://i48.photobucket.com/albums/f239/kmb147/sfmb-556-1-2-28_zps2ruvxwa6.jpg You can use an AAC Blackout 51T, 1/2x28, Length:4 1/4" http://www.advanced-armament.com/BLACKOUT-51T-Flash-Hider-MITER-Mount_p_448.html Or even an AMD-65 brake, 14x1 LH Two different versions, both at 4.25" http://ak-builder.com/index.php?dispatch=products.view&product_id=30042 https://apexgunparts.com/product_info.php/products_id/3055 |

Flashpoint in Gadsden Alabama can do something similar. I considered putting the thread protector on first then adding said muzzle device to get the "look" I know nothing about this company and didn't want to lay down the coin just to see if it works...(205) 568-6556 looks like they can even do custom lengths ! https://www.facebook.com/josh.jared.10/photos/pcb.841528495886901/841527545886996/?type=1&theater Noah |

AMD brake is definitely out of question, AAC Blackout is a possibility, but at that length, I might get Surefire MB555AR instead. That, actually, is one of the few options that I have considered seriously. Quoted:

Thanks for the heads up. Sort of like Ferfrans CRD, but longer. I'll look into that, for sure. |
