So on a Saiga 5.45 I have noticed that a lot of them do not have the chamber cut or polished for feeding the last round. Mine was kind of diving into the chamber right below but would feed when firing but if i ejected that last round you can tell it ate up the tip of the bullet a bit. So i took a pointed rubber polishing bit (dremel) and lightly polished the point where the nose of the bullet was impacting the chamber. I did not touch the actual chamber in any way. I just wanna make sure this was ok to do as long as no actuall chamber support was compromised..

Merely polishing the surface will not be detrimental.

It's usually best to ask if something is okay to do before modifying your rifle.

most 74's feed right into the chamber from the mag, and almost don't even need a bullet guide. Who did the conversion?

Guys at ****another, edit dryflash3 forum said to do this polish job. Had 1 malfunction due to the bullet hitting right below the chamber. Did a small bit of polish where the bullet was hitting and now it snags less.

Do not start a forum war. You took their advice, ask them about it.

Don't begin another series of panic threads over this. You are getting close to a C0C # 8 violation.

A forum war would be the guys from forum A said X.

"X" doesn't work, so you go to forum B and say forum A told me to do it and it doesn't work.

Do not play off one forum against the other. Like complain about forum A in forum B.

If you took advice from a forum and it didn't work out, go back to that forum, don't bring the problem here.

You have not been here long and you have created multible posts about the same subject, now your on to another problem.

I would ask you to not creat multiple posts here, and no forum wars.
