I have a minty N-PAP with a G2 trigger (installed by CAI) and the trigger pin is backing out after about 5 rounds.  I push it in and it backs out again.  Grrrrrrrrr!

Attached is a photo of the assembly.

Does anything look amiss?

Any suggestions on fixing whatever the issue may be?

Bottom line is if your trigger pin is walking its not being held in place by the retaining spring wire. that is the only thing that keeps it in place.   Look at the retaining spring wire and see if it is making good contact.  You may have to bend it a bit to make sure it firmly sits in the groove on the outside of  the trigger axis pin

You can see in this picture how the trigger axis pin is held in place by the retaining spring sitting inside the groove on the outside of the pin. Yours is not making good contact there, letting the pin work out.  If yours in s making good contact there, the pin can't walk.

I also recommend one critical upgrade for any AK that I buy/build is installing a retaining plate instead of the retaining wire.  Is is soooooo much easier than a spring to install and only costs like $5  I would link one, but I am not sure which company sells them that is an industry partner.  Easy enough to find, just google search AK retaining plate.

Yes, the retaining plate is the better/easier to install part.

I noticed on my M92 PAP that it appeared as thought the axis pins were walking out, but the real issue is that the axis pins seem to be made for a thicker receiver. They walk a little before the retaining spring contacts the inside of the receiver.

Like the posters above my post stated, you will want to check to see if your wire engages the pins. Also, you might want to look into a retaining plate like the one's  APEX (an arfcom industry partner) sells. I bought one of the Krebs plate but it failed on my SGL21 and WASR 10, it didn't hold the pin in place so I just bought the one APEX sells and ate the $15 I lost on it. Now the Krebs S12 retaining plate worked.
