I am very strongly looking at getting a npap.
I was wondering what you guy use for your scope mount. The svd type mount? Or do you use the POSP scope with the mount. thanks |

I use an SVD mount PK-A.
IME, the universal mount didn't work. The locking pin didn't keep a solid connection. The AK mount doesn't work at all. If you mount a magnified SVD scope on there, prepare for the relief to be so far off, you can't use it. The rail is my main pet peeve with O-PAPs, N-PAPs etc. My advice = If you want to use the side-rail, use something unmagnified with an SVD mount. |
I put a UTG on mine the other day. I am going to do some slight machining (taking away some rail material) so it can be pushed all the way forward yet. No big deal, there are a few online tutorials.
