Has anyone threaded the naked barrel so a camp could be attached while waiting for their tax stamp? I can't stand the absurd recoil compared to my 74. Either a 14 mm LH thread or even finding a 24x1.5mm thread block that isn't attached to a site block like on the 74m. Anyone?

Anyone? ive seen pics of folks cut em down and put a comp on it to get to the 16" someone had a sweet build with a battle comp on theirs |

I was just thinking about it some more. I don't think there is enough meat on the 556 barrel for 14mm LH threads but I'm not sure. I'm just looking for some ideas on non perm attached comps because it will be an sbr eventually. I'd like to run an AK BC - but I'm not sure about the thread that they offer it in for 545 and 556. I'm up for any ideas right now. And Fin I think I recall someone that threaded theirs for a suppresser mount as well. Someone will come along soon I'm sure.
