I have a Sig 229 .40 S&W.  I bought it new $800 and promptly sent it back to Sig and had them install a short reset trigger and night sights, which upped the ante $300.  I also have 8 mags for it that are typically valued $40-50 a piece.  I know that's all insanely expensive for a handgun that I virtually never shoot, but I though I HAD to have it.

The possible trade is on a Arsenal SLR 101-S with more than a dozen steel magazines.  I don't own an AK so this would be my first, one, and only.

Should I fo?

Is it a SLR101 from a year or so ago?  Or from 10-15 years ago?  Newer one - good trade.  Older one, no so good a trade as they are in ban configuration.  Does it have a thumbhole stock?

Do it!  Ask him if he has the original parts.
