Hello Folks,
Im fairly new to the forum in general but I've been a longtime senior member of gunboards. I purchased a gorgeous Egyptian ak47 parts kit with Arabic markings, a tapco slant muzzle brake, a g2 trigger kit, Nodak Spud receiver and a new US made chrome lined 7.62 barrel. I was planning and dreaming of building up the rifle myself but when I started calculating the cost of having the parts sent out to be blued and painted (in the Egyptian style) and buying the press and required rivet tools, along with the fear of not lining up the GB and FSB properly ... It just seems like it doesn't make too much sense unless I plan on building 10 AK's or more. So I'm looking for a professional build and finish job by someone who is a ak building and finishing expert. Does anybody have any suggestions and while I'm willing to pay a premium for a professional job, I don't want to be taken or overpay. Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |
