it's probably been beaten to death, but can a Yugo m70 (b1 if it matters) function properly without the little dust cover pin? I'm sure we know what I'm talking about but it's the pin/button that locks the dust cover onto the rifle. Thanks guys

i dont see why not ! the M72 RPK dont have that pin and it functions fine....

yeah the yugo is actually the only ak variant I've seen that has it..just don't want to be shooting it and get slapped in the face with a dust cover..seems like it's still solid with no problems thought..

It's main purpose is to keep the dust cover from flying off when launching grenades.  In other words, most people can easily live without it.
