Am I the only one that thinks this term is annoying? Like there is a single underfolder somewhere that we have not seen. How about calling it just underfolder.

Huh? Underfolding stock and underfolding bayonet. Either one of those can be found without the other, we call a rifle that has both a double underfolder.

Yes.

No, but there's a single underfolder that involves just the stock.  A double, as descirbed above, has both a folding bayonet (which folds under the barrel) and an underfolding stock:



How about calling it just underfolder.


Because that's what this is:



An underfolder is an underfolder.  A double underfolder is a double underfolder.
