I don't know if this is old news or not but I recently ordered a Taco pouch from HSGI and while I'm waiting for it I went surfing looking for pictures and came across a site called "combat gearing". They selling what is obviously a poor chinese knock off of HSGI's product and they are calling it by the Taco, Taco Double Decker, etc. name and not only do they not indicate that it is not HSGI's product they even include a picture from HSGI's web site complete with the HSGI logo.
I called HSGI to confirm that they were aware and they are but since the scumbags are overseas they can't do anything about it. I think this sucks and people need to know.

| No big surprise, the chinese have been ripping off magpul for a couple years too. I ordered an ms2 sling and some xtm rail covers just to see how the quality was (it was something ridiculously cheap, like $17 shipped from the PRC) and the sling was a pretty close match, but the XTM covers were hideous by comparison. They were marketing them as real magpul, and had even ripped off the packaging and labeling on them |
