I have had one for a bit. very solid mounting, but you need to limit the size of optic. I put a 2.5x8x36 (30mm tube) scope on it and that was on the outer limit of what I would call stable. fine for range use. probably best with a red dot or 1x4 short dot.
if you try to remove the upper hand guard you can put a light scuff in the side of the AKARS hinge with the locking lever...if you worry about such things  I left the rear sight spring in and that too appears to slightly scuff the rail (bfd)
I just sold it on the EE because I just didn't need that much rail on the underfolder anymore. |
