SLR-106UR, just added the ctrax fake suppressor, balances surprisingly well.

Looks good! How does the mag work for you? Did you have to do any mods?

I just got two and they don't fit my Archer.

May have to pick up an SLR 106 variant if they do work for sure.

I just got the magazine today, there's a small tab on the front lip that needs to be snapped off and I removed the mag limiter. Fits both my SLR-106s fine and cycles dummy rounds, can't wait to get it out to the range.

How did you get the tab off?
Grabbed it from the top with a pair of pliers pulled forward and it popped off real easy. It fits the 106FR and 106UR great, I have a 5.56 Saiga and it doesn't want to lock.

Saiga .223 I have been tinkering on and off with for several years. Recently stripped and repainted /w Duplicolor DE1634. Should've just bought an SLR-106 in the first place, but it's been fun and it's true Russian.... except for the Bulgarian parts put on it. At this point I'm probably done messing with it and will just let usage wear run its course.

thanks. it's always surprised me how the plum stuff can go from looking basically black indoors, to a very light purple in the outside daylight.

I now has 106FR. It's a 2006 built rifle, but shoots fine.

Wearing my MI AKSM / Vortex Sparc combo that usually sits on my 104FR. Tension on the siderail was about the same as my 104FR's, so I just tried it for shits and giggles.

Was messing with sling hardware...

Fin:  Get some circle 10's, I don't have any experience with Beryls, but I've heard good things...if I can find some on the cheap, I will definitely give them a go.

I've been using Beryl black mags for more than two years, alongside Bulgi waffles. Both work flawlessly in my CR, not a single hiccup.

anything is better than the stock grip.

I prefer the US Palm grips on the SLR series guns due to the re-enforcement plate. On normal receivers I like the magpul grip.
