What are some of you guys using on your AK's? More specifically, a Yugo UF. Having a hard time deciding and picking one out, I prefer a two point, no single points. Thanks dudes

Any military issue 2-point designed for the AK.

I use the standard issue AK slings. Dont see the point in using anything else on a traditional AK

I use a Yugo surplus sling on my M70AB2 underfolder.  Like This

I like 2 point slings.  Love the rapid adjustable slings.  There are just times it is really helpfull to be able to tighen up a sling and keep your rifle out of your way and not flopping around.

I personally use "correct" AK slings on my rifles. If it's a Yugo, then it needs the correct Yugo sling. If it's Russian, then it needs a correct Russian sling, and so on and so forth. But that's just how I roll. Nothing wrong with a traditional AK sling. I suppose if I ever thought I would actually need to use an AK sling in a tactical situation, then I would probably use something a bit more modern. I just don't plan on doing building entries with any of my AK's anytime soon.

No one plans on doing those type of things, but you never know when they might happen

I'll reiterate the military slings.  Romy leather sure does slide nice :)

I used to use standard issue AK slings, then I discovered the VCAS and haven't looked back.
Can't top a quick adjust 2 point imo.

I like the Polish military green web sling with leather keeper. However, on my AMD65, I use a French 'MAT' 1" leather sling. It's long enough for patrol carry and has a swivel snaphook on each end. I have a Polish sling on my SA85M.

What did you use to attach the sling to the front? I want to run one of these slings but all the HK style clips and similar are for a 1" strap. I think the VCAS is 1 1/4?

I use a BFG mash hook. The 1" mash hook actually works perfect for the VCAS even though it is 1.25".

I also use the standard issued AK sling.  I have the Polish one, mainly because I picked it up for like $1 or something like that.

I have a military issue green slilng with the leather fastener on the handguard end. Loops through back swivel. I think it's Chinese. Looks good. Works great.

Do you guys find that surplus slings work well as a carry strap but are too short to use in a "patrol carry" mode and shoot while slung up?

My experience is one or the other. You can make them long enough to use them while shooting, but then they are too long to be used to comfortably carry with and vice versa.
For this reason I really dig the quick adjust 2 points.
