Looks through the pic threads I noticed nobody is running tech sights. Is there a reason why? They seem like a good option for iron sights. Thanks for your thoughts.

I think most people prefer to just use optics when they feel the stock iron sights aren't doing it for them anymore.

I have tech sights on my 10/22.  If the AK sights are of similar construction, then I wouldnt want to beat on them too much.  I also dont like the different top cover.

If I ever buy a 10/22, CZ .22, or any 10/22 knock off the next purchase will be Tech Sights or NoDak Spud sights or something similar.

i love the tech sights. i have them on 4 of my ak's and i shoot them better than an optic. i use them on my 10/22's for cheap practice.

I had tech sights on my AK for a while, but ended up selling them. I liked the peep sight much more than the standard AK sights, but I found that they didn't really help me all that much in the accuracy department and found it to be more effective to just mount a red dot. I also like the more traditional look for AKs too, but that's just me. If you like peep sights I would suggest the Krebs, faster target acquisition, and it allows you to field strip your rifle normally.

If you're a stickler for irons, then TS are a better system than the factory AK setup IMO. Most people just opt for optics these days.
