I did a thing with the last of my AK-74 parts that I had been hording. Made an adapter so I could run a tailhook brace on the PT-3 stock:

Cut the flash hider tines off of a Krebs Custom IMS and faced it in the lathe so that I could run all 24mm muzzle devices. Remove the IMS system and you get a 1/2-28 barrel thread:

Testing the threads after a DIY crown and thread.

Obviously I'm all for it and no one here is gonna rat, but the tailhook on zenitco stock thing is definitely a legal grey area especially with the latest rulings. I seriously don't mean to offend or come off as nagging since I'm new but its not something I'd post personally.

This should probably be in another technical forum where such things are discussed. The tailhook was intended to be used as a brace. No need for further commentary.

Just got my ZenitCo stuff from Russia

Fitting definitely required on the B-10U. Everything seems super stable and robust though. Love being able to mount the T1 on the top cover. Considering cutting the barrel down and using a JMac GBC-13 and getting the barrel threaded in 1/2x28...

Sold a Norinco AK 3 years ago and bought one of the Classic Arms WW74's.  So far no problems with mine and hope it continues.  Replaced the painted furniture with Russian Black.  Always wanted a set of laminate.  Took a year to get it all done ordering from Rusweapons.  The set i received was the honey blond but they replaced the incorrect AKM HG they sent with a take off 74 surplus with a dark orange finish.  I refinished the other piesces using iodine on the stock and then staining a combination of Gunstock and Red Mahogany to match the HG.  I am happy with it.  I wish the stock had the higher cheek rest but it will do.

After;

Came into a set of Zhukov furniture for free from a coworker. Came in one night and handed it all off and said it was taking up space, here ya go.

I have had this one for amost 15 years. It's a CAI build on a Nodak receiver with a pretty nice Tapco trigger. It has an Ultimak gas tube with a Primary Arms red dot which co-witnesses with the irons. Never had an issue out of it.

My pair of Bulgy 5.45's.  These were original barrel kits, purchased in 2007 and just recently finished.
