I'm interested in putting a collapsible stock on my dual tang milled receiver. Does anyone know of a company that sells an adaptor to put an AR-15 style stock or a complete collapsible stock set-up that will work with the double tang?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

You had quite a wait from when you registered to when you made your first post. Welcome!

Unfortunately I don't have a very good answer for you. I just checked my kicklite stock and there is a

spot on the bottom side of it where it looks like a lower tang might be mountable, but I don't know if

it measures up correctly.

Will not fit on AK variants with a bottom tang, a slant-cut receiver at the rear, or an underfolder stock

I can't find anything that will work for you if you don't remove the lower tang.

Thanks for the help. I don't want a collapsible stock bad enough to remove the lower tang. I'll have to go without.

Thanks again for the help.

Ace makes a milled receiver block, to which you can install their skeleton stock and/or their folding mechanism. Length of pull might be a bit long for both the milled block and the folding mechanism, but that's one option I am aware of. The best part is, you don't have to remove any of the tangs.

I was in the same boat... looking for buffer tube for milled AK to mount M4 style butt stock without removing lower tang.  I contacted ACE about their adapter and they said it would NOT work with lower tang in place.
I also do not like the downward slant of the butt stock/tube on the TAPCO products.  Command Arms does make two buffer tubes (one polymer and one metal) that will work with the lower tang in place.  These also have a
downward slant but not as severe as the TAPCO and appear very well made (handled both).  In the end, I went with a Warsaw length fixed stock because a shorter LOP was my overall goal.
