I've got a small gap between the stock (new Ironwood Designs) and rear of the receiver.  When I drilled the holes for the stock screws, the stock seemed to abut against the receiver right where I wanted it, but when I installed the screws, there was a very small gap between 1/16" and 3/32" and it's driving me insane!  (OCD)  I know it's "supposed" to be like that, but I don't like the looks of it.  All my other AKs fit perfectly with no gap.  Can you do anything to remedy this or do I just have to live with it?

TIA

There was a discussion on this not too long ago. Is the butt stock pushed in as far as it can go? If the rear tang is preventing further movement i'm not sure if there's anything you can do. I'm OCD about that kind of stuff too, but I just lived with it

You'll pretty much have to drill out the holes and fill them with wood dowels, then refit the stock and make sure it fits how you want before you redrill it.

Yep, fill screw holes with hardwood dowel and Gorilla glue.   When you drill the new holes, drill them slightly back (toward the buttplate).  When you put the screws in, it will draw the stock up tight against the receiver.

OK!  Thank you, fellas!
