Does anyone have experience with the work Rifle Dynamicsdoes on AKs?
I read an article last night in one of the gun rags about the upgrades they did to a WASR 10. It looked like a slick gun with some funcitonal upgrades. I would like to hear some comments about the Bolton gas block upgrade, lighting bolt left side charging handle, and their optics mount built into the quad rail(specifically interested in a aimpoint T-1). Also, any reason not to cut the barrel on an AK to 14.5" and pin an FSC47 brake? |

You'd be making an already short sight radius even shorter. with the intent of always using a T-1 micro, I would think the handiness would pay off. As long as you retained the fsb, sure. I'd rather move the fsb against the fgb and pin on a 74 brake like krebs does with the 103k model. Never abandon irons Posted Via AR15.Com Mobile |

Thousands and thousands of AK kits and rifles out there to be built or worked on, but only a handful of really solid builders in the country. I've waitied 6 months for an MP5 kit build, currently waiting at least 4 months for an AK build. Thats just how it goes. |

Actually, a long wait gives me a false sense of waiting for something even more awesome than if it was a 3 week turnaround. Kinda like class 3 stuff. |

I had him build my AKS-74U and it's the most beautiful AK I have in my collection. http://www.intempusphotography.com/photos/i-c3G6mHj/0/L/i-c3G6mHj-L.jpg that sure is sweet. congrats. |
| Jim's shop is local for me, I stopped in for some questions about a future Tula build. He took almost an hour to personally answer all my questions and show me around his shop. Very approachable guy and down to earth. I would not mind waitin 6-9 months for one of his builds. He occasionally does armorers classes focused more on building than simple parts replacement. |
