Just got this pick from a buddy of some rifles that he's being offered. Neither of us are terribly familiar with AKs, pretty much just WASR guys, so any insight into those ones would be appreciated. This is currently the only pic that he's got but we are working on getting more.

From the looks of the "Box O AK's" they look to be milled rifles.
The photo is a bit small but I think I see the dreaded 3rd hole. They look like full auto's. If they are then they qualify for the 10 foot rule. Get your buddy to take a close up photo of the receiver. |

| Alrighty, mystery solved. It looks like my buddies brother was yanking his chain on this one. These pics are from his deployment to afghanistan a few years back where he had something to do with all the weapons that his unit captured. As he tells it these beauties were destroyed about 2 hours after he took the pic. A tragedy in itself but I guess its a bullet dodged on this end. |

Plus the story about those AKs being captured and destroyed seems fishy. They appear to be brand new Bulgarians.. that is what the US bought to arm the Iraqi army. The AKs we captured were beat to shit, not brand new. |
