I am new to the Ak, I just got offered a good deal on one (275). I have heard that there are some that take a specific mag and wont work with regular ak mags if this is so could you guys let me know witch ones wont work with regular AK mags and if there are any I should avoid.

Some of the AKs are still in "sporter" form and will only take single stack mags. For $275, this is probably what is being offered.
if you could post a link to the rifle in question or give us the manufacturer and model name, then we can give you a definitive answer. |

lets not forget that if it has a pistol grip it must be more dangerous than a sporter stock. |

lets not forget that if it has a pistol grip it must be more dangerous than a sporter stock. If what you mean by sporter stock is a thumbhole those are also verboten in the PRK unless you have an AK chastity belt. |
