| Thinking real hard about getting one, as I understand it the configuration that they come in is 922r compliant. Does this still hold true if your using suplus magazines. |

Compliance parts are: Arsenal FCG (3) PG (1) HG's (1) Stock (1) Brake (1) You could also use US magazines or US floorplates and/or followers in surplus mags if you wanted to change the furniture up some. Z Or ignore compliance completely. Probably not the best thing to recommend on a public forum. |

Don't blow off the law. Can bite you in the arse.
It's not that hard to figure out since Arsenal tells you what's import on their rifles. SGL21 for example––bottom of page 2: http://www.arsenalinc.com/usa/downloads/SGL21.pdf Plus this website does the compliance math for you; http://thegunwiki.com/Gunwiki/BuildAkVerifyCompliance |

Quoted: I think the ATF has enough issues to wrry about more so than if your pistol grip is domestic or import They probably do. That is until some moron files a false report with the cops saying you threatened them or something, you get raided, the police tell the local paper you were found with an arsenal of assault rifles, some with illegal modifications (your non-compliant parts) and thousands of rounds of ammo, more than anyone would need for hunting (which is the only legitimate excuse the press sees for gun ownership anymore, even though they still want to get rid of even that), and bomb-making materials (because you've done some plumbing and left over pipe is in your garage with your fertilizer and gunpowder for reloading). No sense not doing something so easy as keeping the correct number of domestic parts on your AK when it could end up with a felony conviction. |

I don't recommend flaunting the law, but Arsenals come 922r compliant. |

Whereby my client reasonably relied upon the advice of a knowledgeable member who even has the word COP in his name.. Judge: Counselor are you finished? Lawyer: It's only a pistol grip, Your Honor. Judge: Anything else? Lawyer: No Sir. Judge: Guilty... next case.... |

Judge: Anything else? Lawyer: No Sir. Judge: Guilty... next case.... If anything happens it's the BATF person thinks there is a violation of the 922r, he confiscates the rifle. And when you see how much it's going to cost to fight the so called violation, you just let them have the rifle. I bet this happens a lot of times. They have the power of the Government behind them, you are just standing there trying to defend yourself. Not going to be a happy deal. |
