Basically I want to ghettofab up a poor-man's 10X-type rifle without cutting out my trunions and dremeling on the receiver at all.

I thought there was a fella who took the ACE internal block, side folding mech. and did a thing where he carefully sawed a Warsaw-length stock down, filled the sawed bit off with epoxy and screwed it into the side folding mech., but I can't seem to find a link to it.

Maybe I just imagined it but the process I described above seems to be a pretty solid way to fake together a solid side-folder type setup, non?

Here's the only info I have:

Another member here has done something similar with a wood stock, it came out nice.It was on a Draco though which doesn't have a tang on the rear trunnion.

Nice. So I didn't imagine it.

Yeah I'm aware I'd have to cut the tang so putting an ACE block in is a one-way permanent mod.
