I have an Arsenal SLR-95 and it will throw shots #3, 4 and 5 progressively to the left.  Sometimes I can get the first 3 shots in a decent little group and then I can watch as the next 2 start heading left.  Cold barrel or warm barrel it doesn't seem to matter.  I did not shoot it hot as I was trying to figure out was going on.  The resulting group at 50 yards was about 3-4 inches across.
I used 3 different types of ammo (7.62 x 39) and they all did the same thing.  I even used a different magazine but there was no change.  I can shoot a nice decent group with my other AK so it isn't me.  The range officer suggested that I might have a handguard binding on the barrel issue.  Before I take things apart tomorrow I thought I would see if anyone had any suggestions.  How would I know if the handguard was causing the problem?
I pulled out the gas piston/bolt and to the naked eye it looked straight and there was no uneven wear that I could see.  100% function with everything I try.  I have a spart gas piston so should I swap that out?
