Things to add:
Pistol grip reinforcement plate, AKUSA AK103 chrome lined muzzle brake or if you can find an actual AK103 brake(not chrome lined), and send off to reputable builder and have it re-finished. Not worth it IMO. Too bad I didn't buy an SGL21 when K-Var was selling them for $499. It would be close to the MSRP for the 5.5mm folder/parts, PG plate & install. |

Just throwing out the facts, if you are going to offer an AK103 clone why not add the PG plate? I've owned 5 Arsenal's in the past, will be down to 2 this weekend My SLR107F with the mods stated in my earlier post. http://i1184.photobucket.com/albums/z336/USN-Riverine/DSC00560.jpg If they wanted to make a perfect 103 clone they would do it and market it to collectors for a solid $2,000
Most guys just want a 7.62 AK with a side folding stock. The details like PG plate and such don't matter to them at all. |

Yeah $1200! A little part of me laughs when I see Arsenal's prices. Then that little part dies when I realize they only ask that because people pay it. How can you get it any cheaper though? Side folding hardware sets are $250ish and you have to pay a gunsmith to get it done right, not many people are able to do this kind of work themselves. You're looking at a minimum of $500 in parts and labor. As high as it is, in this market I don't see how you can get it for much less. It's not 2006 when the SLR107FR's were selling for $650ish (and people bitched then too, not to mention the 107 is a Bulgarian pattern rifle) Z |

But then there is the fact that it's.... Wait for it.... Very Limited Production! |

Fourtfourmag and I will be at a local 100-300yd range zeroing his Tigr or NDM this Memorial Day weekend. You think you can make it down? It would be funny to see a dude rolling with a Tigr on his back while riding his CBR down the highway ![]() How do you know I ride a CBR LOL? Tell you what, I'll be at Parris Island exactly a week after Memorial Day so if y'all don't mind me joining I'll try to be there. It'd be nice to shoot the Tigr one last time before leaving. |
