New to AKs so bear with me if this has been beaten to death.  Want to know differences between SLR 107s and SGL 21s.  Not looking for spec sheet type info, just general opinions from those who know more than me.  I know I want an Arsenal, wondering if one is really better than the other since it seems I can get a SLR 107 a little cheaper (assuming I can find one)

SLR's are Bulgarian, SGL's are Russian. Basically the difference.

Al things being equal, grab the SLR 107.  You get a side folding stock, chrome lined muzzle brake and a reinforcing plate under the pistol grip.    I have an SGL21 and I love it.  But, if I had the choice I’d just get the slr107.
