I love this damn thing

I had one of these laying around that a good friend of mine gave me, I never used it on my M4 cause I use a single point or a 3 point. I  was thinking about how I carry my SGL31 when walking down my property (loose sling, carried muzzle down, around the neck/right shoulder with the scope rail about belt level) this allows me to shoulder the rifle from the carry position. I got to thinking how nice it would be to carry the rifle with a shorter sling, higher on my body, and still be able to shoulder it quickly.  I realized the Vickers would be perfect, I have had It on there for three days and I will be getting two more for my other AK's shortly

For those of you who are not familiar with the Vickers, you pull the tab seen on the left side of the picture and it will release around 12" of sling material allowing you to shoulder the weapon. Its Awesome

Yes, I have one on my Colt LE6920.  Love it, might have to think about one for the AKs!

What kind of sling attachment do you use to get it to attach to your AK?

The coated wire loop attachment (also from Blue Force Gear) works better for me. It's quiet and doesn't scratch up my blaster.

My favorite sling, I prefer the non- padded version though as the padding limits the length of adjustment up to the point where the padding begins

Great sling.

Beats the fuck out of any 3-pt or single-point sling for use on an M4 as well.
