Can anyone tell me the best place currently to purchase on of these rifles?
In checking around the prices are all over the board and anyone with prices
listed in the $600 range or better does not have them in stock...

Arsenal raised the prices to about $740

Best place would have to be either gunbroker.com and find a reputable dealer OR www.kvar.com

Yes, prices have increased.  Got mine around $600 and worth every penny. Brand new AK parts with matching numbers.

The K-Var people have always been pretty good to deal with I have found.
Looks like for an SGL-21 by the time you get it and pay FFL fees you will
be into the rifle for $800.

Atlantic Firearms has them listed at $729.

Send them an email and confirm they are in stock and ask what the price is for a AR15.com member, you may be surprised.

I just bought one from a local dealer in Pleasant Hill, CA for $840 otd, premium price yes, but I have one now...

Try New Frontier Armory. I just bought a sgl 31- 94 from them. Great customer service, plus they carry accessories also. SGL 21 was $720 on their website. Good choice in AKs.

I got my SGL 21 from Atlantic Firearms.  Great customer service and the price was as good or better than any other I could find.
