I have one. I got it from one source tact. It works great and makes the romy folder comfortable to shoot. I dont know about high enough for an optic, but it works great for irons.

Does it clear the charging handle when folded?

Yes, It clears. This is one of the best options for folding stock in my opinion. The ace is very nice and i have always been a fan of the triangle folder, but this is the cheapest and most functional option without having to modify your rear trunnion. Thanks
