Went out to The USAF Base BX today picked up a GP WASR 10-63 for $446.00 out the door no sales tax on base.
Picked up 100 rds Wolf 154 gr SP. Went home and cleaned it good , man that barrel was nasty inside.Headed to the rifle range just as the huricane rains arrived here in middle of Texas...wow.Shoots good. Now i am taking it all apart to refinish the wood and detail the metal parts. Need to order a whole bunch of ammo too.Any reccomndations on "good" ammo? Only problems so far is the new steel magazine will not lock in, neither will a tapco its like the tang that goe's under the lever/lock is to tight.The used one locks in but is really hard to unlatch when removing the magazine. I also ordered 10 box's of Uly from Cheaper Then Dirt so i might have ammo by the weekend too. |
