[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Trigger/Hammer Pin Retainer Plate....

My 'Shepards Hook' gave up the goose on my polish tantel...

I want to replace it with a plate. Are all the plates universal? Or are there special made plates for the tantel? If so... where can I track one down.....

Help a illiterate Ak owner out?

Krebs makes one... so does RSA & Tapco.

I believe any of these would be better than the shepards hook, and yes, they are universal.

I removed my FCG for the first time today. My rifle came with the plate already. What a brilliant person to come up with that!

I cut the "hook" out of all of mine the day I bring them home and stick a Krebs plate in, its so simple and the ease of total cleaning the trigger group makes it worth the price to me.

So is red star arms good to go? Any one with any problems ordering from them? I thought they use to be an industry partner..
