| Who is a good builder. I have a kit and a Receiver coming and I dont have the time to build it. |

Have to include Troy Sellars of Inrange .Top notch Troy is just now finishing up installation of a REAL Bulgarian barrel on my shitty Lancaster RR (which is on the "recall" list they have posted). He has turned out my rifle in just a few weeks too - much sooner than I expected. I have asked him to gunkote the rifle also and I hope to end up with a decent ak-74 clone for about the same total money as an overpriced Arsenal ak-74 would have cost me. Since I trust him ten times more than I do Lancaster, I went with a quality repair job by a first-class guy rather than returning my rifle to Lancaster. I hope Lancaster doesn't hold their breath until they ever get any more of my money. If they do, they will turn blue in the face. |

All mentioned are good. Just dont forget about wait times.................... Yeah, you are going to have to be patient when you have a well known good builder do the work for ya. 4-6 months at least. InRange might have a quick turn around right now(a month or two back he said it was about 6-8 weeks), |

I have Gunplumber (Mark at ARS) doing some repair work to a homebuilt 74 right now and I'm impressed with how knowledgeable he is and how responsive he has been to my emails, considering how busy he is. He has been absolutely straightforward with no bullshit. I have a really nice matching Romy non-G kit that I'm probably going to have built up by him. He said 4-6 months if I sent it in now. I'm obviously not authorized to speak for him.
From what I've seen, 4-6 months is typical right now for the higher end builders like him, Cold War Classics, etc. |
